Flights last just over an hour during which (weather permitting) we will ascend to more than 1000 metres. At this altitude we take a moment to celebrate our achievement by toasting with a glass of cava. Once back on the ground, we head to a country restaurant where a typical Catalonian brunch awaits us: bread rubbed with tomato, cold cuts and cured meats, and botifarra sausage with white beans.
