Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You should wear clothes appropriate for the weather at the time of your flight (summer or winter) and comfortable shoes. A hat or cap is also recommended to protect your head.
HOW DOES THE BALLOON FLY?

The balloons used for passenger flights are hot air balloons. These hot air balloons fly because of a difference in temperature. The air inside the balloon is heated with a burner which makes it lighter than the air outside; this phenomenon of physics is what makes the balloon rise into the air.
CAN YOU STEER THE BALLOON?

Hot air balloons fly in the same direction as the wind, which is what gives them the unpredictable and romantic air that is their main attraction.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO FLY?

All seasons of the year have their attraction, as the landscape is always changing. Winter for example, offers the vision of snow capped mountains.
IS IT COLD ON BOARD THE BALLOON?

Actually, the opposite is true. The proximity of the burner used to heat the air inside the balloon means that you won't feel cold. Even so, in winter you should wear warm footwear as the heat from the burner doesn't reach your feet.
WHAT TIME DO WE FLY?

We fly first thing in the morning: in summer at 7.30, and in winter at 8.30. Your flight is at this time of day because it is when weather conditions are most favourable.
HOW DO WE GET BACK TO THE DEPARTURE POINT?

A vehicle will be waiting for us at the landing site to drive us to the traditional farmhouse where we will enjoy brunch and where flight diplomas will be awarded, after which the vehicle will take us back to the departure point.
